Minecraft freeze and take longer to download






















Answer (1 of 4): Minecraft generally freezes for a couple of reasons. * Garbage Collection * * If you don’t have enough RAM, you’ll experience a lot of stutters whenever the garbage collector activates because it is trying to clear out everything it can from memory to bring in new assets.  · A /freeze command. This command, in my opinion, would be a great addition for creative Minecraft, or building. What the /freeze command would do is freeze literally everything, from the moving textures to all mobs, but only you can move. Other things the command could do is stop the day/night cycle, randomTickSpeed, weather, and mobs spawning.  · I'll take anywhere between minutes to load up but entering the game will cause Minecraft to freeze until I force it to close.
